I had a random craving for sugar this morning so after I dropped Kelsi off at school I stopped and got a doughnut. There was this guy that was obviously struggling for life outside of the doughnut shop. He weighed maybe 85-90 pounds and was more than likely coming off something. He was shakey and in bad need of medical attention. He asked me for change. I said what I always say "I don't give change, what do you need?" He looked at me like no one ever said anything like that to him and he said he wanted coffee. So while I was buying my sugar fix I got him a cup of coffee and I gave him a few smokes.
If I was a boy I would have given him a ride to detox. But I am not boy, and though I could probally take him down with me little finger, I still wouldn't let some strange man in my car. If this person was a female it would be a different story entirely.
It feels good inside when I help people.
