10 things learned on a road trip:

1) Architect in Helsinki's "Heart it Races" is the best, most original song I have heard in a long time, and basically just kicks ass.

2) America (and apparently Canada) is an absolutely beautiful country.

3) Irish pubs are best appreciated from a francophone Canadian city.

4) Farming may be the singly most fulfilling career a human can do.

5) Food in New York City is only expensive to those who have not discovered Puerto Rican lunch counters in Spanish Harlem.

6) The drive from Montreal to Washington DC is only eight hours long if those hours are from 11pm to 7am.

7) Pizza and gasoline are two things (the only?) that New Jersey has over New York.

8) Beaches in Connecticut are both warmer and nicer than those in California.

9) Having friends and family all over the country is one of the best investments one can make in life.

10) The phrase "If this isn't nice, I don't know what is," should be said as often as it's true, which is hopefully frequent.
