An anti-gay GOP Congressman, Rep. Dean Heller, has been appointed to the remainder of embattled and corrupt GOP Senator John Ensign’s term, by GOP Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval. Ensign, who resigned effective May 3, has been under federal investigation and was named one of the 15 Most Corrupt Members of Congress in 2009.
On his 2006 campaign website, Heller stated he supports “traditional marriage,” and voted no on prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation.
