we sent out the SOS call

This has been such a great weekend!! I was so sad it had to end. But it all starts up again on the 11th so I am pretty stoked. Here's a rundown of the awesomosity:

Saturday:

My first open houses! Whew I was tired from all the fun friday that it took me a while to get together haha. Sawyer had to work so we couldn't get to Susie's open house until 4:15..it ended at 4 but she was just damn pleased we showed up so she didn't mind that we were late. We talked to her for a little bit, ate some cake, and then left for Emma's because Susie had some other open houses to get to.

Emma's was a ton of fun! We walked around her grandparent's ranch and ate lots of good food. I met Andrew Rowley's parents and they were just so nice! omg his mom was just so sweet and was talking to me about cake (haha long story) and she was just being super kind when she didn't even know me. His dad was awesome too because he was telling us these stories about being a cop and living in NY, it was really cool. He was really funny and Andrew would make these little comments and his dad would run with them. It was really cool. The RACHEL!! showed up. It was awesome seeing her!! She dyed her hair and it looks soo cute. So Rachel, Sawyer, Emma, and I sat around the table and talked about how great AP was together and they stole my camera and took lots of pictures.

After Emma's we went to Jennie Cox's open house. I really don't know her but she still invited me when we were at Emma's. It was awesome!! I was walking to the back with Sawyer and all of a sudden I see this really familiar guy. I realized it was Mr. Hanson my chemistry teacher from the MSC that I miss so much. I ran up and gave him this huge hug and I talked to him for a little bit. It was really cool seeing some of my old MSC friends at Jennie's.

After the three open houses, Sawyer and I went back to his house to help his mom. She's like remodeling the entire house for his open house on the 18th and she really needed help. She sent Sawyer and I to Menard's to get some kind of varnish, and we were just so confused lolz. The lady that was trying to help us was laughing because we had no idea what she was talking about. So, to make a long story short, we didn't get the varnish and we went to Steak and Shake instead.

Sunday:

Sunday was the best day by far!

I went to graduation and it was awesome! I was so excited to see all my friends graduate and they were all so happy. Carlen gave an AWESOME speech and I was so proud of him! He was really worried about it and afterwards aasked me what I thought and I told him it was great. I taped most of it and kept waving at all my friends. They were really happy I was there and I was just thrilled to see them all. Afterwards I got tons of hugs and took a bunch of pictures with my friends. I got pictures with Brent, Carlen, Melissa, Chris, Samantha, Sawyer, Rachel, and Tiffany. It was so cool! Sawyer's mom was like treating me like part of the family and had me get in some of the family photos haha. It was really nice, and they took me home and invited me to a party but I really wanted to go home and change before the next slew of open houses began. I was invited to like 3 more @ graduation!

After Sawyer brought me home and showed off his graduated self to my parents, I changed really quick. It was nice to have like an hour to relax but it flew by. Next thing I knew Sawyer and I were on our way to Kelsey's. Kelsey's was a lot of fun and I just love spending time with her. I took some more pictures and talked to Andrew (who I've talked to at every single open house Sawyer and I had been to) and met some of Kelsey's senior friends who actually knew who I was!! It was cool they were like "yeah my friend talks about you sometimes, you seem pretty neat" so I got invited to even more open houses! AHH! haha.

We left Kelsey's and went right to Jaquelyn's (ahh I killed her name) open house. A ton of people were there and it was just a total chill fest. We had just missed Frantz, but by the time we'd gotten there it was totally adult free. It was me, Sawyer, Andrew Rowley (again haha), Adam Danis, Nick Rohr, Haley Wood, Brandon Yoder, Steve Duckett, Scott Kohs, Matt Christ, Stacie Hibiske, Kelsey Nyberg, Paco, and some other people I really didn't know. Steve, the bassist from nice try, was there too and he was really funny and always talking to me. He told me this story about how he was like sleeping in his friend's van on the way back from a cabin and when he woke up it was time to play this show. So he got up on stage and for some reason his side was really sweaty, and he looked over and he had a chicken quesadilla stuck to him. It was really weird and he thought it was the funniest thing ever. The whole night was awesome. We were there like an hour and a half past the time the open house actually ended but we were just fooling around. Brandon showed us his really stretchy skin on his knees and Adam danced over him. He did the robot to "On Top" by The Killers. It was really funny. We looked at junior high yearbooks and Nick and Adam kept making fun of all the people they recognized. Everyone there was just really cool and super nice to me. I made a ton of new friends and now I have their open houses to go to lol. Andrew invited me to his at the end of the night when Sawyer and I were leaving Jaquelyn's.

All in all the weekend was awesome, and I took a lot of pictures. I hope they turn out because I am feeling a massive picture post coming on! I've got a ton of open houses left. The 11th I have 4, 12th I have 2, 13th I have 1, 18th I have 2, 24th I've got 2, 25th I have only 1, and I'm pretty sure the 26th is my last one. So it is going to be an awesome month and I'm spending it all with Sawyer and a few other good friends.
