Waking up and checking email and other fun things. :P
This one ia 2a and 2b. 2a is my poster for The Vertical Hour and every playbill. All signed by varying combinations all at least including Julianne Moore and Bill Nighy. 2b is my program from yesterday ~ complete with Andrew Scott's signature all over Bill's side. LOL.
In what's beciming a 12 of 12 v. 2.0 them... Benny tries to get my breakfast.
At school. My Because of Winn Dixie bulletin board!!! The bottles come from the story. Gloria Dump hangs bottles on her tree to remind her of the things she's done wrong. We changed it and hung our wishes for the future on our tree. And writing samples from the kids are to the side. I love this board!!!
Yolanda's getting assessment tools ready for her kids. In Kristin's room where we like to hide.
My file cabinet next to my desk. This is one of my favorite quotes from The Vertical Hour ~ and I finally put it up so when Ms. AP gives me a hard time and I'm feeling down, I remember why I do what I do. :)
A longer-range view of my desk. It's actually *gasp* CLEAN!!! I decided to really clean it off after stupid data folios!
After school, I went to yoga, and this was a view on the way there. I know there's a way where I walk up a street and have a fantastic view of the Empire State Building, but for the life of me I couldn't find it today.
Inside the changing room. Don't worry, no one else was in there. I love the lamps and the painting on the walls. I love my yoga studio!! I had to do an earlier one hour class today because I had a Fellows Forum focus group meeting this evening...to improve the Fellows Forum bulletin board for the NYC Teaching Fellows. We got pizza, sodas, and $35 Barnes and Noble gift cards! Yay!!
But I had some time to kill so I had some Jamba Juice and chilled in Union Square for a little while.
I finally got home and am getting my mail. Fun! Alas, no check for per session ELA exam scoring. Maybe tomorrow.
Getting back on the computer. This is what I had left up when I left this morning. It's the pic of Julianne's little girl Liv signing autographs. SOOOO adorable!!!!!
And this month I actually followed the rules. The bonus pic was (big surprise) "Green" this month. While I could have taken another pic and used the one of Benjamin Coffin the Bird for it, I didn't.
The green "I'm thinking" light on my computer that drives me insane because when it's solid, I can do very little. And it's been being solid a LOT lately. (Like it is right now.)
