Mac's really are easy once you get the hang of them... and err.. why do you need a note to tell you how to shut it down? Just click and then when it asks if you're sure, hit enter or just walk away, it'll close itself off

Because I'm stupid and hitting the dumb logo doesn't make sense to me to get to the shut down menu. I'm used to words.

I think so. It goes orange for Halloween, blue for hanukkah, red and green for Christmas...so I'm guessing red for Valentine's.
