A post for Facebook and other social networks where my English-speaking friends will be able to read it (I will make reposts. And you also can repost - it'd be nice of you :) ). Why I write it here - because Lj format is more easy-to-use for me. And first of all - sorry for my clumsy English. Well to the point.
Here is my handmade doll tea-set for sale: two cups, a cattle and a tray. (Not a toy for children!!!) One of the kind.
Price: 86 USD.
Shipping depends on type of shipping and the country to ship to - roughly 10 USD.
(A beautiful hand-made gift-package will be as a present :) )

If you want to buy, e-mail me for details: false_mirror@inbox.ru

Under a cut there are some photos of the tea-set, some interesting information about tea-set making and materials, and a couple of words how to treat and care for the set.

I attempted to take some photos with realistic colours. In reality the set looks like this:

(Click the image to enlarge it) At any rate, colours at this photo are as realistic as my camera and skills allow them to be. And remember that your monitor (and mine too) can pervert the colours.
Another couple of photos with true colours:

And a photo with a centimetre ruler to compare scale.  My tea-set is not a copy of any natural size set - for people not for dolls - so I can't tell any concrete correlation. It fits good for my dolls which are usually 30-35 cm toll.

And now some technologic information with photoshopped pictures.
Nearly all my art-objects I make from hand-made papier-mâché of my own recipes - different recipes for different objects - depending on objects' characters and my ideas. My papier-mâché is not simple torn paper with glue, it always has complicated composition with plenty of ingredients - some types of paper, herbs, glues, paints, oils, essences and other ingredients which I keep in secret. It may be said that each my papier-mâché mixture has it's own somewhat of a formula - like a perfume. And besides my "papier-mâché" art-objects are quite solid.

The very beginning of the work. It's not a pile of rubbish, here are details of the future tea-set :) rights on a glass plate (some future doll details are in this photo by chance - as I work at my dolls at the same time ):

Tea-set parts are broken specially - to be glued with acrylic bronze - such a tribute to Japanese technique kintsugi (金継ぎ)
Bronze acrylic glue:

Glued parts of the teapot body. The body is cut in two to cover the teapot inside with layer of another type papier-mâché mixture.

Here on the glass is a cup and a pile of raw red mixture for making inside layer:

The cup is nearly ready:

Covering of the teapot inside:

Now the teapot is nearly ready :)

At this photo is the set before boiling in oil emulsion and my main working instrument - suchlike thingies dentists also use :)

The oil emulsion. I also prepare different oil emulsions for my dolls and other art thingies, their "formulas" are also created by me and kept in secret.

Boiling in oil is to make the tea-set more solid and damp-proof:

After boiling - still hot:

Cooled:

Toning with oil paint:

Done! A handle is woven from glued through cotton thread (beige and light grey):

Oil toning dries out quickly - in a couple of days, but after boiling in oil emulsion the set is drying through slowly - its outside may look absolutely dry but its inside is still oillish and will harden and drying nearly a month or even more time.

The "reed" tray - I made it from "tails" of Indian incense sticks and polyester thread:

My favourite part of work: selecting paper for package. Here are pieces of Japanese rice paper. I chose one with hieroglyphs:

Paper for a box's inside - a very light lilac paper for pastille drawing:

And here is the box - I cut and glued it from thick cardboard, papered it over with matt "gold" paper and it's inside with pastille paper:

A process photo of box-making - a cover. Here you can see the cardboard basis glueing:

Finally everything is ready - the set and the package:

Cigarette paper to fold the set in:

Now some important information!
As i've already said this set is not a toy for children! It's a beautiful accessory for an art-doll house, or simply a nice art object to feast one's eyes upon :)))
It should be damp-proof (as boiled in oil) but I urgently recommend keep it away from water and other liquids, from any dust and dirt.
Because the oil emulsion contains some linseed oil the tea-set can change its colour: became darker and yellowish in a dark room, and lighten in a sunny room - it's quit normal, but I also recommend not to leave the set under sunbeams for a long time.

Well, it seams to me that this post is already too long. If you have some questions about buying and shipping e-mail me: false_mirror@inbox.ru
