Cloud decided to opt out of his armor and cloak and claw this time, leaving the Buster Sword in his room as well. He was left in just his old uniform of shirt, belt with suspenders, and fatigue pants with his boots.
Walking the short few feet, he rapped his knuckles lightly on the door.
Yozak had his feet up on the table in the sitting area, writing something down the old-fashioned way instead of putting it on the network computer. At least he had been warned that they were going to have a visitor, and wasn't being asked to dress nice, but that wasn't motivation enough. "Conrad," he yelled in case his roommate was still in his room. "Door."
Conrad came outside of his room, pulling a new shirt on. "Nice, I feel like a dog, Yozak. A full sentence would be polite." He smacked the redhead over his head as he walked to the door. It was a bit harder as he would do when joking.
He opened the door, a pleasing smile on his lips. "Welcome. I hope you are hungry because my roommate will eat only a dry piece of bread today."
"Oww..." Yozak sat up and rubbed the back of his head, pouting at the insinuation that he wasn't getting fed now. But when he saw their guest, he stood up and made himself at least somewhat presentable. "Ah, hello. Don't listen to Weller, he's such a tease."
Conrad didn´t lost his smile but Yozak would get a taste of his own medicine after they were alone again. Lulu said that Yozak and he had such a great relationship. After Conrad was finished with him they will see how great this relationship was.
"Come in, the dinner will be here soon. I have ordered a small menu from the card."
Cloud nodded and stepped inside, his boots thudding softly on the carpet. "May I see the menu?" Cloud asked politely, looking up at Conrad with glowing eyes.
He was rather short compared to the men, but he'd gotten over that tidbit when he trained at the Coliseum. Size didn't matter when fighting, after all.
Yozak stepped over to join his friend. "Ahh hey...we've spoken, haven't we?" He placed the voice, at least, from communications. "Cloud, wasn't it? Nice to finally meet you." He nudged Conrad slightly with his elbow for not properly introducing them.
He took the menu from Conrad's hand and took a seat on the plush couch. Cloud felt a bit awkward. When was the last time he really talked to people like this? He heard Conrad's question belatedly. "Oh... um, water would be fine. Thank you."
Yozak returned to the chair he had been flopped in and sat back down, though both feet remained firmly on the floor this time. "So~...settling into the City, are you? I hear you ran into Conrad out and about earlier today."
Oh, the menu. Cloud skimmed it looking at what this place had to offer. He nodded. "Yes, it is. I'll have something small for now though. A salad is fine."
He really wasn't all that hungry, not that he ate that much to begin with. He'd learned to slow his metabolism down because for a long time, he didn't know when the last time he would eat. He was slowly working it up again, now that his contract with Hades had been up and he could fight in the tournaments whenever he wanted.
"Ohh, on this floor? I had no idea. It seems funny to me to use the technology to talk to one another when we're just a few doors away." Yozak sat back and laced his hands behind his head, looking truly relaxed and uncaring now that he was healed up and feeling fine. "Us fighters need to hang out more. Face to face, you know?"
He decided not to tease Cloud about being so shy, for now. He knew how to deal with most types of people, and figured this one needed a gentle introduction.
He supposed fighters needed to hang out more, considering this place was for wins and didn't let others die. It was safe to get close to people, it seemed.
"All right, you have a point there." Yozak figured the easiest subject of conversation would be the reason they were all in the city. "What weapon do you favor?"
Walking the short few feet, he rapped his knuckles lightly on the door.

He gestured over to the couch. "Maybe you want to take a seat? I can offer tea or water. What do you like?
