Spent my birthday with the lady. We went to the beach in Shimane Prefecture (about an hour or so from Hiroshima). It was cool being able to see and jump in the Sea of Japan. I don't know, I have always had this weird thing about wanting to see all of the oceans and major water's of the world. Anyway...
It was a good birthday. Quiet. Relaxing. Fun.
After the beach, we went to an Aquarium. It was good, but not worth the entry fee. There were no effin' penguins! Come on, what is an aquarium sans penguins?
Back to work today. Felt good to start getting ready for the new school year. Looking forward to the challenges of new students.
