website update

so i've spent the weekend working on my website. i finally took the time to get rid of those horrible frames and add a flash gallery. so far i'm pretty happy with it. it's still a work in progress and i've still got a ton of albums/bands to add, but for now it's a good start.

very nice. interesting layout. I've actually started working on a new version of my page as well. We'll see how the new Microsoft Expression Web holds up.

Thanks. I haven't heard much about Expression Web. Is it Miscrosoft's answer to go up against Adobe/Macromedia's suite?

You know, I'm not really sure on that. Supposed to be like Frontpage on steroids. Not really sure about the whole web page design market, I just tend to stick with what's easy and what I'm used to. :P

thanks. i wish i had those mad flash skillz. unfortunately, not yet. i used SlideShowPro. it's really customizable and was nice to work with.

I recently upgraded to Gallery 2 and although it looks tonnes better, it's not even remotely as nice as many of the flash galleries I am seeing these days. Maybe I'll look at this one.

Gallery is also really weirdly slow.

I forgot to comment on how great it is: it's great! The layout is really intuitive yet flashy (no pun intended).
