The Decision
So, this is it. I've decided to stay at Naropa for the next 2 1/2 years, and then maybe go to the Center for Cartoon Studies afterward. I'm going to try to take a couple of online courses for credit from the Academy of Art College, since they offer Perspective, Character Design, Figure drawing (and 3 level of clothed figure drawing, even more useful), etc, and I should be able to get credit for them since they're tough classes. I heard the figure drawing class at Naropa is soooo awful. I don't even want to take it. People told me not to take it, but I have to take figure drawing, right? Maybe I could take the clothed figure drawing class online, since I can't take something elsewhere that Naropa offers. CultofNaropacultofnaropacultofnaropacultofnaropa. *cough*
Anyway, did I mention HOW much I love Robert Spellman? We talked for like 45 minutes after class today. BWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I mean seriously, how could I leave a place that hires someone like him? I wish...I could be like best friends with him....awwww, everyone's in love with him and RIGHTLY SO.
I did my wabi-sabi presentation and handed in my paper. Dropped off my paintings for the art show hanging tonight. HEY NAROPA PEOPLE GO SEE THE ART SHOW WHEN YOU CAN. The opening is tomorrow from 5-8 but it'll be up till next Thursday. It's at Nalanda, btw. So...2 more classes to go. Basically all I have left is my horrific art history exam next Thursday, some egg watercolors to do tonight for painting, and maybe another small painting assignment due next Friday. Noice. I'm a bit worried about the art history exam but if I start studying Saturday, and study everyday till the exam, I should be fine. Plus I have like nothing else to do, so hopefully that will encourage me to study. =P At least making a ton of notecards and obsessively going over them isn't as hard as writing papers, which require thinking.
BWWEEEE semester's almost ovvverr!! Marlonous made a vanilla CAKE last night. I'm such a freaking glutton. Sorry Marlon. I...don't mean to eat so much of it...I just can't control myself. x_x Besides, it's so delicious. Yummy yum. Well I might take a nap if my roommate can shut off her music. I'm exhausted, but so relieved to have an entire class finished. Soon I can play FFXI and GW to my heart's content...oh and um do other stuff too.
