A burden getting hard to bare
I miss the man who isn't there
Like a silent misty breeze
Or a rustle in the trees
He's gone like the snap of a finger
His memory left on me to linger

Hollow has replaced his fire
Gone is his will to inspire
Weakness has taken what one was so strong
Envisioned so right; now feels so wrong

Here I stand
In this foreign land
Trying to feel
Something real
One last glance at his forlorn face
How can I save my saving grace?
