Just some... previews ~

Mar 29, 2012 18:37

Yeah, so this is stuff I'm working on. I have no idea why I'm posting previews. I'm just really bored and maybe I'll be more inspired to write after I post this, lol :D

Glitter & Trauma

Pausing for a moment, I wonder what she's talking about. Pleased? About what, exactly? I stare down at my hand, mind going over this question. “Are you pleased you're going back?” she asks again, and I nod my head quickly. “Yes,” I reply, my answer rushed as I lean back in my seat, staring at the dull grey roof of the car with interest. “Yuu is there.”

My answer lingers in the air for a moment, as I watch the bright colours of the rainbow stretch out over the roof, enveloping it in a fantastic masterpiece. “It's a happy place.” I conclude, blinking a few times as the mundane shade of the ceiling returns. It almost surprises me for a moment, but I just shake it away. Some things are there, and then they aren't. It's easy enough for me to comprehend, but sometimes it feels so real. It's almost a disappointment when it isn't.

“A happy place?” My mother muses, leaning forward in her seat slightly as she indicates to turn a corner. I smile at this, watching the blur out the window as a giggle escapes past my lips as the car swerves to the right. “Yuu is there,” I repeat, and I can almost see his pouty smile, his warm yet absent eyes. “They can't get me when he's around. He protects me.”

Sick Society
“I can love.” Yuu protested, flinching back at the blond's words. An expression of hurt fluttered across his face, and he lowered his head sadly. “I love you.” he whispered quietly, his shaky hand lifting to his own chest, pressing against it firmly. “I love you in here, with this heart.” he confessed, dark orbs searching frantically to find Kouyou's warm eyes through all the furious spite. He couldn't see anything.

“Oh.” The guy looked surprised, looking over his shoulder and waving at the plump bus driver, who waved back; a regular routine; before a loud screech was heard, the doors closing as the bus sluggishly rolled away. “You look lost.” The stranger stated, still smiling. Uruha absently wondered how many people had fallen victim to those dimples, because all he felt was the stable feeling of trust and honesty drift through him.

“Not lost. I just don't know where to go.” he replied, searching his pockets for another cigarette, only to find he was sitting on the box. Five cigarettes had been crushed by his bony ass, but the rest were fine. He offered the boy one, who thanked him and sat down, even though Uruha was sure he had gotten off the bus to go home. Uruha lit up, before passing the girl’s lighter over. The musky smell of tobacco filled the air, and the blond’s stomach ached in longing.

Aureole - Sequel to Psycho, Psycho

Standing when he heard the knocking at the door, he peered through the peep hole, something he had picked up immediately after the letters had started to arrive. The blond couldn't be too cautious, after all. Kouyou sighed in relief when he saw it was only Yuu, the shy, quiet man who lived in the apartment next to his. He wasted no time in opening the door, knowing he probably looked like a wreck after a long day of working, a bit confused but curious to know what his neighbour wanted.

Kouyou opened his mouth to say something, to greet Yuu and ask if there was anything he needed-but the words couldn't form, and the blond felt a chill nearly lethal scrape down his spine when the brunet didn't say anything, and held out a letter, much like the ones Kouyou had become well known with throughout the months. When the blond doesn't take the letter immediately, his mouth falling open in shock, his neighbour hurriedly shoves it at his chest, and Kouyou almost stumbles backwards, before he clutches at the envelope, watching as Yuu scampers away, taking the stairs two at a time.

Not wasting any time to think, he rips open the paper, envelope fluttering to the ground as it's discarded, unfolding the horror before him.
