This is really good. I love first person because you get to go in depth with what the characters are feeling. It puts you in their shoes. You pull it off beautifully.

Oh wow. Thank you! Personally, I think I struggle with first person. I agree, it's much more in depth but sometimes I find it difficult to convey everything without is sounding so repetitive. So I'm relived and psyched that you think I pull it off beautifully. Really, thank you! That's a wonderful compliment to receive ; v ;

I also do think that writing in first person is difficult, because as a writer you really want to get into what everyone is doing, but there are times, like this story, where first person is the absolute correct thing to do.

Exactly! I've always struggled with it, but on the odd occasion, I think I can pull it off. First person is the only way to go sometimes, especially for character depth, which is what this story needed :)
