I wrote this fic a while ago but i didn't like the way it was going so i amended parts and i'm going to try it from a different angle since i have time off work and i seem to be getting my muse back, i hope!! So i'm gonna start over, i hope you enjoy comments/suggestions/whatever are welcome as always.

After Weevil and his gang of toughass bikers had finished beating his face to a bloody pulp, Logan, managed to drive home through some miracle of nature. He wasn't sure why he had gone home, the place stunk of his jackass father's sweat, Trina's slutty 'fuck me' perfume and too much floor polish. Immediately he went to the fridge and picked up a big old bag of frozen peas, he sprawled on the couch as the soothing cool peas made his eye numb a little.

Veronica Mars, what the fuck have you done to me??

Logan sat in the stony silence of the Echolls lavish mansion, to the outside world it probably looked like the type of house you see on MTV 'Cribs' it was large, expensive and full of unnecessary material goods. To Logan the house was one big lie, everything in it was a lie or based upon nothing more than that. It was in this house his father had burned lit cigars on his back for stealing liquor from his cabinet at the age of 15, it was in this house his father had beat him with a belt until his back almost caved in, it was in this house that all the worst things that could ever happen to a kid, happened. The irony in it all being that the family home is supposed to be a safe and sacred environment, the reality being Logan was not safe not even from his own father.

He gathered some tissues and dabbed his nose, his face felt like it had swollen to the size of a large watermelon, he dared not look in the mirror. Logan was used to being beaten, a sad and strange admission but it was true. His father was a media 'god', he was on the front cover of People magazine, Rolling Stone and Premiere every other week, his face sprawled across every news stand in the country. The headlines on the front cover often said "Aaron Echolls, the Family Man." or "My family is my life". Which often made Logan laugh, the hypocrisy was often too much for him to keep his mouth shut, resulting in yet another beating for him.

Logan switched the tv on as he continued to try and make his face feel a little less like a balloon. It was breaking news. He looked through is good eye, he recognised the face he saw on tv. Not surprisingly it was his father. The reporter was stood in an old country road, that Logan recognised, he sat bolt upright as the reporter said.

"Our top story tonight movie star Aaron Echolls has been arrested for the murder of Lilly Kane, we will keep you up to date on the situation as more unfolds, back to our news room."

For a moment Logan was numb, he bit on his lip as he felt his heart pound in his chest.

Well Veronica was right about an Echolls killing Lilly, shame she suspected the wrong one.

Logan placed his hands behind his head and looked up at the ceiling, he was trying to figure out things in his head, which was easier said than done. He could feel the anger build up as everything started to make sense.

So you were fucking my father Lilly, i knew you were seeing someone, what i didn't know was that it was Mr Incredible himself.

Logan's rage finally flourished as he screamed and tipped over the table next to the tv. He kicked at the table viciously, pounding it hard with all his might, a big gaping hole finally appearing in the table, he found himself screaming through his tears and frustration. He fell onto his knees and sobbed loudly.

I will kill that fucking bastard, i knew he would kill someone one day, i thought it would be me not Lilly, i will fucking kill him.

After a few moments of crying loudly Logan stood up and looked around as if for the first time in his life, he had to get out of this house, he had to get away from the place that reminded him of the person he hated the most. The person who had beat him, the person who had caused his mother's death, the person who screwed with any woman with a pulse and ultimately the person who would be rotting in jail for the murder of his girlfriend.

Frantically Logan ran around the house collecting some of his belongings in a backpack, socks, pants, underwear, he wasn't sure why he was picking up this stuff, it seemed so unimportant to him. Lastly he picked up his mother's lighter and put it in his pocket. He was about to leave when the idea came to him, Logan rushed to the kitchen and switched on all the hobs, he ran out quickly being careful not to inhale any of the horrid fumes. He smiled to himself as he peered into his father's study, he approached his father's desk and saw him leering from a magazine, he picked the magazine up light it with his mother's lighter, it brought him a morbid satisfaction seeing his father's sly face curl and burning. He left the paper burning on the desk and left the house immediately.

He looked back at the house from across the street, he could see the room which was his father's study glowing orange. Logan narrowed his eyes and waited, waited for the big finale. Suddenly the whole legacy of Aaron Echolls was up in the air, a loud crack filled the air as pieces of the house flew all over the street. Logan felt somewhat satisfied as he watched the family home literally 'fall to pieces' but in all honesty the house had been doing so for a long long time before he had turned into an arsonist.

"My bad."

Logan said loudly to himself, he could hear the crackling of fire, car alarms were ringing through the air and dogs were barking, he had one last weary look on his work and saluted the fire, he turned his back and walked away. He wasn't sure where he was going but he had a feeling he knew where his heart would take him.
