I was watching season 2 of VMars, and seeing Keith verbally grapple with Woody just made me want a Keith/Wilkins showdown. Because Wilkins smile-while-I-plot-your-demise was way scarier.

I'm a Darla fan, and I'm glad to slip her in, adds a touch of class and danger.

Keith would totally see the dark underbelly of Sunnydale, and not stand for the obvious corruption in the police force that allows for demons to do pretty much whatever they want.

Because it wouldn't take much digging.

Keith is a brilliant man and it's nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks that.
It's clear he wouldn't have backed down so easily - but we all knew that from the show.
You made the connection so effortlessly and I would love to see a followup drabble perhaps, where Keith learns of the Mayor's passing and somehow figures out that something isn't right...or maybe V could go to Sunnydale High...I'm sorry, I just love this crossover and it's been a while since I've read one where the characters seem so in character (especially Wilkins on your part - nicely done).

I love Keith, he's like the best TV dad ever and a badass character.
I still wonder to myself if an older Keith would have backed off so easily, but then i think that a few threats towards Veronoica would have been just as effective.

Thank you for your kind words! I too am a little in love with this crossover between Keith and Wilkins, and I have some ideas for when I revisit this. One of which is Keith's response to either the mayors death or the destruction of Sunnydale.
