Thank you!!!!!!!!!! I finally was able to finish reading up on everything and I love this story :D I love the progression of their relationship but you try to stick as much to canon with the progression of the cases. I love that you're unwrapping Lilly's character slowly and Veronica is starting to really get an understanding of the person she considered her best friend. I like that Lilly is shown as a much more complex character besides Veronica's best friend, Duncan's sister, or Logan's girlfriend. There were many facets to her that no one knew and Veronica is starting to find out.

I enjoyed how you handled the rape/non rape scenario. I agree that as a woman, Veronica was raped regardless of the circumstances. No court would convict Duncan of rape bc he was drugged as well and obviously not completely in the right frame of mind but it was rape none the less.

I love that you're including other characters that weren't developed at all on the show like Enbom and even Meg and Duncan's relationship as well as Veronica and Logan's. The buildup of trusting each other is slow but it's getting there. It wasn't just "Oh I trust you!" then "No I don't!" Trust is usually something that becomes developed and real trust means at the very least giving the other person the benefit of the doubt even when the circumstances look bad.

I'm glad that Veronica and Logan are still keeping some secrets from each other bc 100% trust is NOT what makes LoVe. It's about getting some secrets freely but learning to open up a bit more with each new development. I know others would disagree that they're not trusting each other if they have secrets, but my belief is that trusting someone is believing IN the person. Secrets are words and words can hurt but if you can count on someone to still be there for you regardless of the words that are said, then that is someone you can at least try to trust. Actions always speak louder than words :).

LMAO I loved Dick's punishment!!! And how he's trying to be more respectful to people in general especially his little brother. And how Luke and Casey as well as Meg aren't major players really but they are still there ready to just be a friend. It makes sense that their usual group would be Enbom bc of Mac, Wallace, Dick bc of Logan, and of course Veronica and Logan.

If you keep posting on ff.net, I'll try to find a way to be able to view it otherwise I'm going to have to keep requesting my own copy LOL. Thank you so much for your help so I could finish reading it! :D I hope you update soon!
