I'm so glad he believed that she changed and she did say what she felt, because she knew he needed to hear it, regardless of whether it changed his mind!

And I think he would have to believe her, hopeless romantic that he is.

Absolutely...plus, she does mean it...she's not telling him something that she doesn't feel, just something she couldn't or wouldn't let herself say before...

I mean, she keeps these things to herself, because she thinks not saying them will make them less real or save her from heartache, but when things have gone bad between them, it still hurts just as much, so its good that she matured to the point that whether or not she's learned to trust him not to break her heart, she's realized not telling him how she feels doesn't make her heart any less broken, plus it's something he needs to hear and something she needs to be able to say, in order to have a healthy relationship!

ETA: because I forget words when I'm tired!

Exactly! The first time I saw the breakup scene in "Spit and Eggs," I was practically yelling at Veronica on the screen: "Say something! Just say it!"

Some people yell at football players on TV, I yell at fictional characters.

When 'Sway' started and Mac and Cassidy were on the screen instead of Logan and Veronica, I was yelling at the TV, saying it was 'Bullshit!' telling Cassidy he wasn't broken' (little did I know then, but afterwards that's what gave me the first hint! HEE)...but when it switched to L/V, I bawled like a baby, but was telling Rob... 'Well played!'

Not that that's the first moment I also yelled at the TV..but that's the first time I actually threw something at the TV! - when I saw Mac/Cassidy at first, instead of Logan/Veronica!

Hee. A friend of mine was yelling at the players in a televised basketball game when his 4-year-old said to him very seriously, "Daddy, you know they can't hear you, right?" :)
