I am intrigued
You know, I started this week thinking I had made a really bad error at work - like a five figure error. After finding out that I didn't, the rest of the week seems pretty easy, especially since there's a holiday weekend waiting at the end of it!
So while I'm waiting for the next batch of cookies to cool, I was cruising my friend's list and saw that faithharkness had joined au_bingo , and I went and had a look. Big mistake - maybe?
I like AUs. Some of my favorite stories in my dearest fandoms are AUs, and I enjoy deconstructing canon while (hopefully) maintaining the integrity of the original. They open up the world for beloved characters to play in, but place a lot of responsibility on the writer to get the details straight (or at least be skillful enough to gloss over some of those details :) - ) I'm not sure I have the energy and focus for any of these, but on the other hand, why not take a shot? It's not like the fandom police will charge me with a felony for not completing a row, right?
Ponder, ponder.
In the meantime, I crawl ever closer to finishing the TW story and I've written approximately twelve words of a WAT story. Woo hoo, I'm a machine!
Oh, and belated happy birthday to carrieross - hope it was wonderful!
