There aren't many modern adaptations that I've found in this genre, especially ones that I've really liked.

It's fantastic as it is, but I wouldn't say no to seeing more of these two... :)

I'm glad you liked it - I'm not known for writing short, but it has its place, and this one, for some reason, didn't want to be terribly long.

Well, I feel like a doofus for never having replied to this. I try to keep up with story comments. I still run this AU through my head on occasion when I have trouble getting to sleep or need to busy my brain for a few minutes. Thanks for commenting!
