I saw this last night on "The Daily Show" and it cracked me up - schoolchildren being 'brainwashed' into praising Obama in song. Because singing about the wonderfulness of what a leader expects from the country has never ever, EVER happened under a Republican president. *snerk*
Also, jesus_h_biscuit goes on a tear about America's so-called 'capitalism' in his latest offering. (Warning: Biscuit doesn't merely rant - he rants with numbers and facts and logic. And a few wordy dirds, just to warn the sensitive-eyed.) Heck if I can disagree. He touches a sensitive spot with me, because I've always ground my teeth at people who earn more or started out with more than me, lecturing me - and those around me - about what we're doing wrong with our finances. That, and the fact that as he points out, the rich wouldn't HAVE what they do if it weren't for the manpower of those financially beneath them.
