I really like this. I like, Jack’s breath raced. Time dragged between their meetings. “You don’t rule me-” Petulant Jack is a classic and there's so much between the lines on this one. Somehow I'm picturing Jack as drunk (y'know, more than usual) during this conversation.

And aggressive! Will is for the win!

I don't know, but I like your thinking. Yes, I believe he'd had a few put away while muttering over late Will. Damn independent men! ;-)

Very nice! A wonderful way to wake up.

I like that they both are dominant, and yet both need each other.

Great interpretation of the prompt "Gimme Heat"

;)

I could've just put up photos of both of them in response to "heat" without any effort on my part and it would've satisfied the prompt, I think. *G*

Glad you liked it!

Now, Jack, don't be unreasonable, the man does have a job. Besides, who are we trying to fool with the "You don't rule me"- act?
Jack, darling, there's ruling and then there's ruling and I'm not terribly sorry to have to break this to you, since I suspect you alreay know, but you fall in the latter category. How wonderful is that?

I love them like this. I really, really do. Everything that's there and everything that's between the lines, I love every word of it.

And thanks for indulging my whims :)

Jack doesn't want to admit he's ruled - but really, they both are. As is anyone who has an investment in another human being acting a certain way.

But they're both WELL rewarded, I suspect. Glad you enjoyed it!
