This popped into my head while I was doing laundry today. It wanted to be a revenge fic, but I couldn't imagine Will holding a grudge for 20 years. Besides, Sarah is much more her father's daughter than her mother's. ;-)
I'm glad you liked it. It only makes sense that if the bird-watcher watches long enough and proves he's harmless to them, the birds might take an interest in him ...
It wouldn't have worked if Will weren't Will - and Will's much more interested in going after what he wants than in spending time holding grudges. It's part of why I love the boy.
