That's the word on the street. I actually read about that like a week ago, before it was announced she was coming to Cupid. According to the E! Online article, she's vowed never to work for CBS again! O__o
My new TV guide just came today and there was a little blurb about showrunners leaving their shows (it also happened on My Own Worst Enemy and Life on Mars recently). It said Diane left because she felt CBS was being too rigid with the show (whatever that is supposed to mean!).
In an article I read, she said that CBS kept telling her to make it like the Israeli version, in spite of the Israeli version being shorter and only going for one season, and in spite of what the test audiences said they liked.
