Kristen Bell coming to the UK
I know some of you know that Starfury conventions are bringing Kristen over to the UK next year, but we now have a few more details and I thought I'd share them with you.
After last May's BREAKOUT! convention, STARFURY will be holding a follow up event, BREAKOUT BEYOND! on 13-15 June 2008 in Heathrow, London.
I've provisionally booked the Thistle Hotel for this event, but may move it to the Radisson Edwardian Hotel (currently that venue isn't available that weekend, but they are seeing if they can free themselves up for the event). I don't want to put tickets onsale until I'm 100% certain of the venue (feel free to discuss the pro's and con's of the two hotels on this forum). I anticipate that tickets will go onsale in mid November, after SERENITY LA is out of the way.
I'm delighted that Kirsten Bell is our first guest. You can't get a better VERONICA MARS guest, after all, she IS Veronica Mars! I think Kristen is currently well under way to becoming a huge mega star, both on TV and film.
I'm currently in negotiations for guests from PRISON BREAK and NCIS.
Additional guests from VM, PB and NCIS will be dependent on ticket sales. At present Kristin is the only VM guest invited. If, however, enough fans book, then further guests from the series will be invited. The same applies to the other shows covered after the initial guests are announced.
When booking your ticket online, be sure to put "I'm a fans of VM" or "I'm a fan of PB", or even "I love all shows covered" in the Special Notes section. Just gives me an idea of what is proving most popular, and what way to shift the direction of the event and the show to book any additional guests from.
Although a very small event, the fans who attended BREAKOUT last May were just about the nicest I've ever encountered at a STARFURY event. All were an absolute joy to work with. So I'm looking forward to reuniting them all for BREAKOUT BEYOND!.

For those who don't know about Starfury, they have been running conventions in the UK for 10 years now and are doing their first US conventions this year. BOB will be my 12th convention with them and Breakout was by far the best one I've been to - the awesome-ness of Michael and Jason did contribute to this greatly though!! I am very much looking forward to meeting Kristen and hope to see some of you there!!
