Veronica Mars was kind of... cute today. Light, fluffy-ish.

Paul Rudd played a pretty likable drunken rock star. I thought they fleshed out his character pretty decently for the 40 or so minutes. The only thing that bothered me about the mystery of the week was: wasn't the bag the first place Veronica should have looked? And on Veronica and Piz: errrr? I was surprised by the turn it took in... stalling. She's clearly reluctant, but seems to have developed some feelings for him, maybe? The hand holding was, again, kind of fluffy/cutesy. But for serious? The 'friends... for now' thing is such a wimpy cop-out. Yes or no, V!

The Mac/Max/Bronson triangle didn't grab me too much. I guess there haven't been too enough Bronson scenes so you'd feel really sorry for the guy. Max just 'fit' her better. Eh...

Logan's arc was, hmmm, interesting. It's good to see Logan playing the role of the green-eyed monster instead of Veronica. She gets so much flack for that after all. But the elevator scene was good in that she came clean without any anger or drama there. And then his business proposition was shot down by the professor when he really tried. Hmm, I wonder where they are going with that. It seemed significant. Maybe his frustrations/feeling like he's a screw up?

Really looking forward to next week! I saw the documentary "Invisible Children" and it was really, really powerful (and, yes, I saw Ryan Hansen on the DVD too). If you haven't seen it, you should see if its playing in your area.
