LoVe

I got in a bit of a tiff with several LoVe shippers over at another forum several nights ago. For the record, I wasn't attacking the forum as a whole. I just lashed out at one person - the person who revealed the spoilers without offering any context for them. I apologize if I offended anyone, other than that one person. I may not be a "LoVe Shipper," but I am a LoVe fan. I really do want to see Logan and Veronica get back together - especially if this is the last season. But I prefer to look at this optimistically. I really do not believe that RT would allow his writers to develop a relationship like Logan and Veronica's only to have it end with "Veronica riding off into the sunset" with a completely underdeveloped character like Piz. Some of you say I am naive for being so optimistic that RT will do the right thing by LoVe. Just because I'm optimistic doesn't mean that I'm naive. I think there is some evidence to support my case.

Season 3 has been plagued with bad judgements, especially by Veronica. But amidst her many errors in judgement, occasionally she will have moments of clarity. One example is from "High Infidelity" when Logan rescues Veronica - again! - from the parking lot after she was drugged/clipped. Afterward, Logan and Keith sit with Veronica as we hear her inner-monologue say:

So what would Stan Marsh say in a situation like this? I think we all learned a valuable lesson about faith. You give it to the people you love. But the people who really deserve it are the ones who come through even when you don't love them enough.

Unfortunately, the drug took affect and she forgot everything by the next episode. But there is a reason RT allowed this moment of insight, however brief. He needed to demonstrate Veronica's humility after her misjudgement. He also shed a lot of light on who Veronica values in her life... her dad and Logan in this case. Logan was included as one of the "people you love." I think when all is said and done, Veronica will realize her break up with Logan was a misjudgement on her part. I, for one, love that Veronica is having so many problems with Logan. The girl can figure out just about anything... except love. To me, that's what makes her so human.

I may be completely wrong about LoVe reuniting. If I am, I'll be the first to admit it. But I really think things will work out in the end. Can any of you LoVe fans offer any more inspirational thoughts?
