Ouch I was hoping VM would be up because idol was only an hour this week. It seems that many viewers could not watch because the CW was airing basketball though which could explain it.

Right.

But you forget, House was on with a new episode right after.

Though House is now on a 3 week break, for most likely American Idol crapola.

Thats true I did forget about House. I would think Idol would be stiffer competition for a more teen targeted show though, but House would defiantely steal viewers as well.

Frak. This does not bode well, the numbers seem to get lower and lower each week.

Well it doesn't help fighting an uphill battle with American Idol and House.

I simply cannot understand the appeal of American Idol.

Do you think since a lot of stations showed basketball instead, that could be the problem? Basketball has been on for two weeks now instead of VM

Oh definitely. Same thing happened last season and the ratings dropped. I'm not to sure, but I think Gilmore Girls ISN'T being preempted, so that could be one of the reasons why Gilmore Girls' ratings have stayed strong. We'll see what happens. I hope they take all this stuff into consideration, as well as the people who view the show ONLINE the NEXT day.

Last week GG wasn't preempted but this week it was :( Ugh, I hate it, and I hate waiting for the CW website to update the new episode to their site.
