You know, when Dick is more mature than V, she should worry. I mean, theoretically Dick cares about Madison, though I don't see much evidence of it at any point. Anyway, he finds out his best friend slept with his former girlfriend (in an immature and not-nice revelation from V), and he goes to Logan and tells him straight, "That's not cool."
Okay, it's not Shakespeare, but he confronts his conflict, deals with it, and moves on. He doesn't act like Logan's action (which, I'm sorry, I don't think of as much more than being a minor crime, and more of taste than anything else-- would V have felt better if he'd done it with a nice girl? Yeah? Then she's just upset with his taste, and frankly, so is he :) is unforgiveable, because it's not. He also doesn't attribute his own problems to anyone else.
Veronica is an obsessive person. It's what makes her a good detective. But it's going to make her an impossible girlfriend. I'm sure all of our significant others have done things that, if we brooded about it, could drive us crazy. But you know what? We've probably all done those bad things too! After all, Duncan slept with a girl and got her pregnant and didn't tell V, and that was okay... maybe because she just didn't obsess about it.
I guess that's what that whole "forgiveness" thing was about. Forgiveness really does do more for the forgiver than the forgiven, because it allows you to stop obsessing.
I am beginning (alas) to think that there's no way for Logan and V to stay together... and it's not Logan's fault. He will never be perfect, and she's going to have to learn to accept the man and not the illusion she's got in her head of who he ought to be. The illusion doesn't make her heart pound, after all.
