3 X 6: Hi Fidelity... things are looking up!
I do want to say that before this episode, i was getting kinda annoyed at the series. (and i am a huge fan. i watch old episodes on my computer when i get bored. yeahhh). anyhow, certain issues that i had before seem to looking better.
my issue with the current season is that:
1. weevil has morphed into a cartoon character. he used to be a total badass. now he's a janitor for god's sake.
2. logan. i adore logan and the whole LoVe.
one of the reasons i loved him so much was because he was a wise cracking bitter smartass with a bit of angst. this new season, he has totally mellowed into mr. boring. sure he has a few zingers here and there but come on.. he's a total pussycat now. LoVe no longer for me.
3. veronica has become too mainstream. i loved that she was dark and a smartass. but in the first few episodes, she came off as bit too chirpy. and a tad arrogant, borderline annoying.
1. LoVe- even though this was already discussed, yeah.. the promo for this episode was totally misleading. apparently they won't be breaking up? damn. however, seems like there are cracks forming. (trust issues, logan and his female friends). i want the old logan back. even if that means veronica will break up with him.
logan has been pretty mellow in the past few episodes. even his zingers seem a bit passive. the incident with him passing in his paper late was pure classic logan. i want rebellion, mischief! i finally see sparks of it in this episode.
2. seems that veronica is slowly but surely becoming an outcast again. not that i want bad things to happen to her because i dislike her, rather the contrary.
it's just that super happy veronica with everything going right for her isn't what im used to. this isn't the veronica we know and love. i like her a bit dark and angry.
making enemies and getting chummy with the dean. that's what im used to.
not sure what's going to happen in the next episode (i don't think veronica will actually get raped). however, whatever travesty to hit her i think will develop her character a bit more in this new season (for all the newbs out there).
3. am i the only one that likes mercer? i think he's actually quite interesting.
4. although the weevil situation hasn't been addressed... im hoping that something will come up in the future episodes.
5. love that lamb is in this episode.
6. not a huge fan of harmony being here however. i feel that this develops into something. i don't think she was thrown here purely as a romantic interest for keith. i think something will develop from this. i don't know what her role is yet but im hopeful for something more.
7. wallace is getting some screen time again. thank you!
im waiting for a huge shift in the story arc to shock everyone and keep us guessing and screaming.
