Discussion of the Mini-Arc
Last night I couldn't sleep and ran suspects through my head, I don't think I figured it out (who ever fully figures it out right?) but I think I'm closer. So to generate some discussion....
First off, some of y'all have hinted that the most recent rapes were faked. It still doesn't sit well with me that Claire was seen late at night with her boyfriend extracting cash, was it to buy a wig? Do we know she was drunk/drugged, because the photo could have been taken in mid-blink or something, was she putting on an act for the worker at the register? Wouldn't a concerned boyfriend safely put his wasted girlfriend to bed? Regardless, let's look at Parker, she was "supposedly" drunk, very drunk that night that she needed a ride home. One of these drivers is nose-ringed feminist. While she didn't drive Parker home chances are she might have known about it. She lectured Veronica at length about her actions until she found Veronica was faking it. If she is the rapist, would she have attacked Veronica if she had really been drunk. Could it be that she is teaching some type of lesson to women who get drunk and objectify themselves for men - primarily the frats?
I hope this arc ties into "The Rapes of Graff" from season 2. A similar tie to that episode (Lord, I forgot her name but she played Maybe on Arrested Development) was drinking and partying before she disappeared with a guy she hardly knew. I believe that these first rapes were real but Claire's just seemed too convient. She could have been talked into shaving her head and faking a rape to beef up the case against the frats. Also, when does this mini-arc end? How close are we? I thought next week was the finale but I can't seem to find anything to back that up.
