Veronica slammed the taxi door, wanting to leave Neptune and everyone in it, behind her. Her car had broken down and her mobile was flat. Keith was out of the state until next week and she was annoyed.
Suddenly, the taxi stopped. There was a knock at her window and she opened it.
“Wallace.” Veronica said, smiling. “How did you know I was in trouble?”
“I have a six sense, don’t you remember?” He said, grinning and pointed to his temple.
“Thank you.” Veronica said, hopping out of the taxi and into his car.
“Hey, what are best friends for?”
