I listened to the second half of an NPR interview with Thomas Frank this morning. (The man has a healthy sense of humor - so refreshing.) I am left with two bold-faced, 72-point-font questions:
1. Why haven't I read his new book yet? I truly intended to pick up a copy after watching his interview on The Daily Show a few months back.
2. Why are we still defining our "culture wars" in terms of liberalism and conservativism? He served up some very interesting historical commentary on the ever-evolving terminology of American political discourse, and I am left pondering how corporatism managed to slink into the recesses of current popular debate.
