I know I started watching the show recently, but I fell in love with this characters to a point where I feel like I've been with them for 5 years, so this are my thoughts
I used to make recaps like this one for Smallville... back in season 8 and the first half of season 9, then I started to have a life and I had to stop :(. My Smallville recaps had pictures and all, they were pretty. As for illegally downloading the episode... I'm still mourning Megaupload, but you could try here: http://www.oneddl.com/tv-shows/chuck-s05e13-hdtv-xvid-lol/#more-169922 that's where I downloaded mine ;) I'm still PISSED at the ending, I don't understand why they ended it this way, it made NO sense, and I thought nothing could be worst than Lost ending... damn it, at least the couples ended up together there, even if it was in the afterlife! I think it's pretentious to think that Chuck was anything more than a love story, and I loved the show because of that, finishing the story with THE COUPLE sort of spliten up, with Sarah NOT REMEMBERING A DAMN THING, is just messed up. As the days had gone by I've been building up anger towards that ending. I'm thankful I stared watching Chuck only last year, if I had been a fan for 5 years and I had gotten this ending, I would have had to murder someone.
Now, if this had been a season finale, or if there was a plan to continue the story as a tv movie or a comic, I would have understood finishing it this way, but as the ending of a 5 seasons tv show... no, just NO
As for Smallville ending, well.. at least they were together, even if they were not married yet (somehow I think DC had something to do with that, specially since after the reboot the marriage is no more, and now there is an idiot from the DC saying Clois got married in the comics ONLY because of TnaoS), and both of them remembered everything and stuff. Plus Smallville was more about Clark's journey to become Superman than about his love story with Lois (sadly) and looking at it that way, I think it worked.
Thanks for the link! When I get a chance, I'll try to watch it.
Yeah, I have no clue what they were thinking with this ending. I actually DID watch "Chuck" from beginning (saw the Pilot when it first aired) and I don't think this is a satisfying conclusion at all. This is a group of people who basically wrote 4 series finales (because they were always on the bubble) and they walked into THIS one knowing it was the end. And those other three were much better than this. I truly don't understand it.
