Earthquake II

::  My Godmother and her family were found and they are on their way to Santiago, we're all breathing a little easier now. My step sister was in the south too, she called my dad's home yesterday after the earthquake and said she was fine, but since the telephones lines collapsed they haven't been able to reach her again. We know she's fine but we really want to talk to her once more. The town she was in wasn't as affected as the rest of the south, our only concern is that the house she was in fell down but she had other place to stay.

::  The images and videos shown in the news are terrible, yesterday I thought the earthquake hadn't been that awful, but now I'm seeing entire towns in the ground or covered in water and mud, people burried under buildings that weren't more than 4 years old, people who's lost everything, places without water, food and electricity. Half of Chile is a mess, earthquakes and tsunamies have struck my country and the replicas don't make it easier. This morning was a 6.5 replica that woke us up and this damn shakes just don't want to stop.

::  Yesterday I realised I could have been buried during the earthquake, we were underground and the building was really old, it could have collapsed over us and I would have never seen my family again. I lost it after that, cried my eyes out, my mom had to give me a pill so I could sleep. I'm better now though, but the reality of what happened hit me hard. I can't stop thinking about the people who saw how their entire lifes fell to the ground, how their loved ones were buried, those who don't know where the people they love are, and those who's entire life plan got ruined in a minute and a half.

::  Chile will need all the help we can get, we are strong country but in this moments is when we need our friends to lend us a little hand.
