Dropping the tagline, it's obviously very late. About 2 years to be exact! But hey, fair is fair.
Last time: Logan continually snuck out of the house, never got caught once! There were some awkward family moments (what do you do when you catch your sister's husband spying on you through a telescope?) Nanette reached the top tier at her law firm, and she and Charlie had celebratory woohoo. April hit her teen years, no worse for wear. Charlie and Nanette got to their silver years, no retirement in sight, but does that really surprise anyone? Charlie is by maytesims.
Opening on Charlie again, because he has become a lovely homemaker...who also has a job.
Nanette has grown quite fond of Lavender. Enough to let her and "all that cat hair!" in her room, anyway.
Lavender is spoiled, but then, Logan doesn't have a girlfriend to spoil so a cat it is.
A family meeting that is suspiciously absent of Logan.
I'm still looking for the right 'look' for April, but I think I found it!
In reality though, now that Logan has an afterschool job, is student council president (and whatever other overachieving thing you can think of, I can assure you that Nanette has pushed him to do it), Lavender's primary care falls to April.
Nanette and Charlie still do dumb stuff together.
Charlie has most of the week off and spends a lot of his time glued to the telescope. This habit already got him in trouble once. Some people never learn.

April had a want to 'go out' so I had her ask permission, only to remember that there are no other teenagers to 'go out' with.
Logan, unlike his step-dad uses the telescope for the purpose it was intended.
Welcome to adulthood, Logan!

Hammy (kathsy) stopped in for dinner. She's gotten herself covered in Maxis, but it works surprisingly well for her.

Spending time with your step-dad that has been there since you were two is only awkward if you make it awkward. Logan makes it awkward.
Well that certainly comes from his dad.
Now that Logan's graduated high school, he can devote more time to Lavender, which is lovely because their relationship was beginning to fade.
Sometimes Charlie really gets on his nerves. It's probably because Logan is rather Sheldon-esque.

Harper (simbic) came home with Nanette from the hospital. She left like 15 minutes later citing that it was really late.

Logan met a friend at work one day (and I can say that because while he's not a scientist, he's a stand-up comedian)

April: Look, I just want to cook. I'm not going to college. I'm the only daughter you have and you need to support me or this legacy ends right now.
Charlie: ~likes legacy status~ Point taken.
By Monday, Logan, Lala, and Lavender moved out (I like how they all have L names. When Logan and Lala have children, I'm going to give them L names. This is fun ok!)
Let it be marked that this ended generation 2, but I didn't like how short it was, so I just combined it with the beginning of generation 3...and now it's much too long. I can't win for losing!
Charlie: Hey, how about some breakfast?
Riordan: Why sir, I've been waiting to show off my culinary skill! Mrs. Lykeli never allows me to cook.
Are you serious.
Charlie: Wow, if I'd wanted a protein shake, I would've gotten one myself. Thanks Riordan, you are a great service person.

Charlie's LTW had to do with an anniversary party, and I kept forgetting...but he's gonna kick it soon, I think...

He made the mistake of inviting Rushton, though, and he proceeded to kick Nanette's ass. Which would be domestic violence but they're not married anymore? I don't know.

The end of the night found April finally, finally, becoming an adult.

I fulfilled his LTW the day before he died. What a gr8 day.
It happened to be right as Nanette was arriving home from her shift at the hospital. She brought home this vampire she works with. And I can't help but wonder how a vampire works in a hospital during the day - there are all those windows!

Three days after Rushton moved out (taking the genie lamp), the gypsy showed up with another. This family hobbinates a lot.

With Charlie gone, Nanette desginates even more time for studying. She starts to shut out April a little, and it's sad to watch :/

Even though Shiva (eatfishcustard) only shares one bolt with April, he happens to have the highest chemistry (aside from Nerio, but Nerio and April cannot marry.)

Brayden comes by the house more often now. I don't know if it's because his uncle is gone and he's worried about his aunt, but it's really nice nonetheless :]

I just love them and I love their bedroom.
After maxing all of her skills, there's nothing left for Nanette to do...so she sits in front of the TV in her PJs most days. I finally made her retire.
Even on maternity leave, April needs to remain in practice.
But like mother like daughter, April can't leave the restauraunt alone for too long.
