The Delson Legacy 1.1

Sep 01, 2011 01:35

Hiya! I don't have a whole lot to say...because there isn't much to say.

Meet Donna Delson, my founder for this time around. She just recently moved into Aridia.

This is her box. I tried to make it pretty, but I'm just not an architect.

First order of business was a job search, particularly because her LTW is job related.

That fantastic moment when your sim's LTW job shows up on the first day.

After that, it was time for a bit of skilling. This is specifically in the interest of not burning down the kitchen.

After that it was time to play meet and greet with the townies.

Of course, not everyone is out to make friends.

But things seem to turn around oka...

or not.

But, as he's the only person to stop by so far, the conversational battlefield continues.

Finally, the welcome wagon showed! Mostly consisting of playable sims, like Eleanor Element...

Rushton Lykeli, and his brother Jes.

The first thing that caught Eleanor's attention was the couch, as being heavily pregnant and walking over couldn't have been a good idea.

Despite the new guests, Donna continued to make frenemies with Olivier.

Finally, she moved on to Jes. Things actually go well between them.

They spend most of the day playing catch.

Personally, I wouldn't want to play catch near the flowerbeds, where bees run rampant.

Eventually, it's time for some food. Luckily Donna didn't burn it.

Rushton brings his feelings for Bekah Lykeli to the table, and makes it apparent to anyone who didn't know before.

After the day is over, Donna settles in to soak in the tub. After all, she needs to be up early.

Bright and early, she's off.

Being a golf caddy, she's got the rest of the day to herself, and it gives her plenty of time to meet more people. Like Gold.

and Kurt.

Seeing as Donna's a romance sim, it couldn't hurt to know as many potential romantic partner's as possible.

With her skilling for a promotion, her one true hobby was discovered.

When the flow of people strolling by comes to a stop, Donna logs into her computer and hopes to meet some more locals on the internet.

That night, she's back into work, despite being exhausted.

And after arriving home, she's at work again after a few hours of sleep.

When she arrived home, she saw some interesting people walk by. Originally, she thought it was face paint.

She's never met any species other than aliens.

Around 18:00, she's feeling the crush of her recent work schedule, and loads up on coffee. It did more work to her bladder than her energy level.

The next morning, she's on the phone with Jes. They haven't spoken in a few days, and she did ask him to call her.

In fact, she probably talked to him for too long.

After her crazy and nearly impossible work schedule over the past few days, Donna feels she's warranted a night off. She spends most of her evening on the computer chatting with people.

She's having very little luck online, but she figures this is the best way to get in touch with Ellie. She doesn't think it's okay for pregnant women to walk around too much, but she's not a doctor.

It will most definitely be her job next time.

With all of the hours she's put in, her front yard has been neglected. It's been overrun by weeds.

At dawn, she's awake and making omelettes.

And then she works on her art, because it helps to think outside the box. Especially at her job.

And finally, after a week, she rolls the want I've been waiting for: 'fall in love'

So she calls Jes over after she gets home

He's bringing a friend, so she makes burgers.

The friend is a girl. Donna isn't sure if she's a friend or competition...so she keeps her distance.

After hemming in hawing in her head for most of the evening, she just goes for it, and invites Jes to move in with her.

Task accomplished, Donna goes to bed, and Jes sends Bismuth on her way.

I can only imagine how this all looks to Bismuth.

Jes pulls himself in next to Donna. Jes hopes things go the way he's thinking they're going to go.

I decided to put these all at the end, as they offer one too many interludes. And, that's it! I will probably have another update soon :]
