getting bigger

G got herself up this morning after laying in bed for awhile and slowly waking up. She came downstairs and watched tv quietly for a bit. She got up and carried a chair to the window seat for M when she wanted to climb up in it. She used the potty on her own and informed me that she used the last of the toilet paper. She went to the closet, picked out her own clothes and then changed from PJ's to her clothes on her own, then put her PJ's in the dirty clothes in the laundry room (and closed the door behind her when she was done). She usually carries Hiro's food dish into the bathroom for him in the morning, but since she slept in this morning, I had already taken care of that. Sometimes she helps with emptying the dishwasher in the morning, too.

Mom told G last night that she's just about old enough to be able to bath herself, but I don't know if I'd trust her with that just yet. Maybe we'll try it soon.

Self-sufficient kids are sooooo nice! Can't wait till M gets a little better at things...
