Nuther Movie, and Dinner review
Today I watched "Neverwas" with Aaron Eckhart (drool) and Ian McKellen. It was pretty good. It had a great cast- besides the 2 mentioned above..Brittany Murphy, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming, and Willam Hurt. I think the great cast made it worthwhile, as well as the beautiful soundtrack.
Dinner tonight...I wanted to cook a real meal, since the last I made was lasagna for Aarons' bday. I was hankering a country meal, which I am finding is one of my favorites to make, and eat. Unfortunately it is not figure friendly food, so I don't make it often. Anyhows, I made apricot glazed chicken drumsticks, flaky southern biscuits with butter and jam, and sweet potatoes. It was all delish, and we had fresh grapefruit wedges for dessert. The kids are not big on the sweet potatoes. Heidi tolerates, but won't finish her measly half potato. Guen makes a face and says "this is a potato?" Oliver says it has "strings" in it- and it is "weird"
Tomorrow night, back to work. I am mixed with my feelings, a little dread, a little excitment. Hope the latter wins out over the first. I hear we are to get inclement weather tomorrow night, too. Even with 4WD I still get scared! There are a lot of hills between ENP and Steelton. Wish me luck...
