Having to walk/MARTA exclusively for the past week or so has turned me into a Sherpa. Before I walk out of the house every morning, I have to anticipate everything that I might need throughout the day (jacket, food, checkbook, trail rations, whatever) and cram it into my backpack. Although I'm really good at forgetting the small things, and for the past three days in a row I've forgotten my headphones at home. *le sigh*
Went to Netherworld last night with Da Bears and had a fun time. Got to see some folks I hadn't seen in awhile, and that's always good. Though with my budget right now it wasn't very bright of me to drop $20 on it.
I also found out that my friends Fredo and Mike will be in Spain around the same time that I am, which means we'll probably run into each other there. Who knows, maybe they can introduce me to some of the locals. And at the moment my Spanish is decent enough to make basic conversation.
The senior project class I'd mentioned earlier is going pretty well now that everyone has more defined roles. I've sort of become the self-appointed technical director, mainly based on the fact that nobody else stepped up to the role. It's not a preference; it's a necessity. A necessity that I'm pretty sure won't get done unless I do it myself.
Time for a break
