The new job is turning out to be pretty great. My coworkers are great (and include
mad_piper and
sabrina_pandora), my responsibilities are within my ability, and there's free beer on Fridays. They even paid for my MARTA pass. What's not to love?
School has proved a little frustrating. I'm in my Senior Project class right now, which is essentially a group effort that's supposed to encompass the past 3 years of our schooling. Our group has picked a flash-based game that one of the members proposed, but that's as far as we've gotten. There are three of us (including myself) and so far nobody really seems to know what we're doing or have a concept of the kind of scope we're looking at for this project. Something tells me I'm going to have to play administrator/whip-cracker again.
Spanish is going slowly, but it's going. I have a tendency to get frustrated when I can't learn something immediately. Patience is key, especially when learning to hablar in el tiempo pasado.
Oh, and in regards to the door kicking post: talked to the roommate about it. While I think it was appropriate for me to kick the door in, I shouldn't have blamed her so harshly for it. It turns out her dad locked the door by accident when he visited. He just didn't know any better.
