After finishing watching Hannibal s03 e03 "Secondo", I've realized that there's simply too much feels I have for the show to be expressed only in emails or Lj comments to fellow Fannibals. Therefore I declare that I am going to start writing actual Hannibal recaps of my own. It won't be an easy task (as evidenced by my pitiful attempts to do that for "Gotham"), but I'm determined to keep doing my best in honor of my very favorite TV series, even if it kills me and sends me to a certain someone's dinner table. xD

I hope that people would be so gracious as to show enough interest to read them and leave concrit in the comment sections. *hugs* Before I go, I'd like to recommend (to the people who had Friended me here and/or just occasionally pop by to see if I had updated any dumbass stuff) some links to the Hannibal-themed podcasts I have discovered so far:

This one's probably the OG of the bunch. They've started since 2013 in real time with "Coquilles" and were going strong ever since. Even during the hiatus HeAteUs between seasons they filled up the schedule with fulfilling subjects such as Horror Comics, Internet Creepypasta, Horror Comedy (apparantly that's a real Thing), the five Hannibal Lecter movies, the five Alien/Ripley movies, and NBC's Constantine. aMoT's two hosts Ian and Fio brings to you magnificant dialogues on the air with a multitude of guests (including the legendary cleolinda), but even when it's just the two of them there's never really a dull moment to be found. Fio's distictive chuckling and Ian's drawn out groans of agony alone are worth your time.

For those who are interested in listening to the ones with cleolinda, she's appeared so far in episodes #11~#13 (where they discussed "Silence of the Lambs", "Hannibal" (2001) and "Red Dragon"), #30 (the pre-Season 2 squeefest), #34 (204 "Takiawase", listen to how Cleo breaks(TM) both of the co-hosts with the mother of dark!fic plots), #43 (213 "Mizumono", and quoth Cleo, "Subtitle: Everything Is Terrible."), #46 (where they talked about "Aliens") #49 (where they talked about "Prometheus"), and #71 ("Twin Peaks, Pt. II - Everything Else (sans the Movie)").

Co-hosts Kate and Sean breaks down and analyses Hannibal in a professional yet passionate manner. One of my favorite sections is the "Kate's Classical Corner" one, where she fangirls about the soundtrack and scoring in each episode. They started the show "live" with Season Two, went back and did Season One during the HeAteUs, and is now back in full throttle with Season Three.

As far as I can tell, this show began shortly after the Bloodbath had ended. Of the three co-hosts here, Cooper and Ophelia have seen seasons 1 and 2 at least once, while Miko ("Technogeisha") have not seen a single frame before Episode 1 of the podcast was being recorded. Among other things, it was a delight to hear how a newbie's ideas were being bounced off with veteran viewers'. Highly recommended.

This one is unique in that the lady co-host, Natasha, has only just started watching Season One. As of this entry she's updated to 110 "Buffet Froid", and it's interesting to see what goes on in a new viewer's mind.
