on an unrelated note.
I decided that today I would try to go without coffee as it has become somewhat of a habit. I did good with not going to the coffee place before I got on the T. Got to work. Made two labels. Figured that that would be my work load for the day,,,and a cup of coffee started sounding real good.
So I went down the street to Dunkin Donuts and got a coffee. My job is great, I don't have to ask, just tell. I say, Todd, I'm going to get some coffee, he's just like "ok."
Of course Dunkin Donuts is playing MAGIC so I walk in to the sounds of the Backstreet Boys. Thankfully it is the end of the song and the next song they play is "Crazy For You" by Madonna. I have been kinda crazy for that song the past month or so...I walked out of Dunkin Donuts right as the song ended.
I almost wanted to stay for two more seconds to see what the next song would be but I figured that I had heard my song and my time was done.
I watched Edward Scissorhands last night. I just really needed an emotional movie to completely take me away and Edward always does that beautifully, but half of my thoughts were elsewhere, so it didnt work as well.
I still felt it.
sometimes I wish we had a radio in here. even if we had to play MAGIC. I should start figuring out a way to listen to music. Jill and I used to just play music at the front desk, but that was in the old building waaay down the street and no one ever came there.
I am at the front desk today.
