'Tis the Season to be NICE!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? both
2. Real tree or artificial? I love real trees, but we have an artificial one because my parents gave it to us.
3 When do you put up the tree? *sigh* We don't put it up. I have a cat that loves to climb Christmas trees. The rare years we put a small one up on a table, we do it on Christmas eve.
4. When do you take the tree down? a couple of days after Christmas
5. Do you like eggnog? I've never tried it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? special clothes made for my dolls...my mom had me set out all my dolls in a row around the tree that year, and when I got up, they were dressed in new clothes.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? yes, several
8. Hardest person to buy for? My Dad used to be, but now it's everyone in my husband's family
9. Easiest person to buy for? My Dad now because he wants one thing...the same one thing every year.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? mail
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received. My mother used to give me jewelry and nail polish from Avon. Our taste in jewelry was never similar...NEVER!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? The Christmas Story! (You'll shoot your eye out!) But I do admit to being a Hallmark holiday movie junkie
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? When school lets out for Winter Break...which means, last minute!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, I admit to passing on a few gifts.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My mother's Chex Mix and pecan pies

17. Favorite Christmas song(s)? Little Drummer Boy
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay home
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? Yes...Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel now, star as a child
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Day, although my husband keeps trying for earlier.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Being so tired from school that I just want to rest and sleep instead of do holiday activities.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Some glass icicles and pine cones that were my mother's favorites. A handmade 14 inch Santa made by someone my parents' knew before I was born.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Chicken and dressing (made from my grandmother's recipe), green jello salad, pecan pie, and calipuff (a cauliflower soufflé).
