Using this thing!
I haven't forgotten, though I have gotten a new computer so I have been highly neglectful of responding to people or their responses!
So far a lot is going well together on the computer, and now I can finally keep up with the cool kids and their fancy programs. However I am needing to get a new copy of photoshop and am in the works on that. (My last one I bought was ages ago and I haven't gotten all the updates since)
On another note, work and life have been going alright, I won't lie though I have started to check elsewhere for employment. I don't exactly hate my job, just that I know I could be earning more, the hospital is floundering due to mismanagement (who cut raises and buy new jaguars to show off), and I am getting really bothered by the fact I do supervisory duties and am neither compensated or credited as such. I write SOPs, do ordering and inventory, have been setting up an auxillary lab, have extra duties of both the office fire marshall and safety compliance person, work pet projects for the doctors, and am in charge of inspections. Recently we had CAP inspection, which is part of JHACO, with me making sure everything was in compliance as well as having to research and respond to deficiencies found. In other words... I'm an unclassified supervisor.
I am not sure if I will leave right away though as I am also debating finishing my bachelors degree and trying out for med school. Sadly though, the best way for that would be to stay here as the nearest four year college is part of the Texas A&M system, which as my associates was as well, everything would transfer. However, it also means I am taking a peek at College Station openings here in Texas. I rather go to the main campus if I could, though anything would make me happy. Oh well, I'll try to post more as I figure things out.
