Weekend O' Suck
This weekend was full of a good bit of suck. Moreso than a lot of other weeks. I'm trying to be positive though, and know I need to work through a lot of this depression.
On the lighter side of suck, I'm almost batting 1000 again with restaurants screwing up my orders or having plenty go wrong at service. Today for example the restaurant I went to was highly understaffed with one waitress for the whole place. She forgot our bread, had to get the busboy to do refills, and my sammich didn't come as advertised. I went ahead and still tipped though, as she was about to go insane or run in the back and cry from stress. It was rather apparent.
On a medium side of suck, my face is missing a good half dollar or more sized bit of skin. As I've gotten older, I have been getting some cosmetic work done. Like some of it I have gotten done, we have several residents who need to train and practice, so I allow them to practice on me (at a discount for myself). It is a semi-common practice for medical clinics, and no exception where I work. Basically you pay the cost for materials like your botox, and let someone train on your face. This time I went for a chemical peel, and my mouth and nose lost a bit more than it probably should have. Oh well, it'll be silky smooth once the skin grows back. XD
On the sucky side of things, there has been a lot of death and pending deaths in people close to my family. My great aunt on my mother's side passed away today, one of my best friends growing up just lost his mother, and a good family friend just found out she has stage 4 colon cancer and likely not long to live. Also a good friend of mine I'm thinking about as well. :/
Anyways, I'm going to try to be more apparent soon, as I hate being reclusive and it isn't productive to me at all.
