Hi bebs,
I went to CFAW(college for a weekend) at LU from Thursday to Saturday. If I didn't want to go to college before, I deffinately don't now. Hahaha. Ok, it wasn't that bad but it was just a really boring weekend. I went to a Financial Aid class just to get a free t-shirt.. I mean look what kind of animal this experience was turning me into! Ha! The LU food was really good though.. I don't know if they made the caffeteria food really yummy for CFAW or it always is but I say kudos for LU caffeteria food. Yay. and Yum.
Then I had a 4 hour singing rehearsal for FACination and nearly killed my feet. Oh oh, did I mention that it was a mile from the LU dorm I was staying in to the caffeteria? Yeah. And there were like 4 flights of stairs down and up on the way. Special.
Saturday night, I had a FACination performance..it started out shaky but ended on a good note. Not that many people in the audience due to the Academy of Fine Arts forgetting to put out posters of when the show performances were. Thanks AFA. ;op After the performances, we all went out to Charley's (excluding Mauresa and Jeremiah who were party bums). I met Bethany's boyfriend, Jason.. he seemed like a nice guy but I didn't get to talk to him much.. he was a lil pre-occupied with Bethany. Hah! I'm not even going into that..
On Sunday, I had another FACination performance, surprisingly it went better than the Saturday night performance ..so odd. It was really sad cuz it was the last performance we are gonna do on that stage before they tear it down. And I couldn't help but start crying during the last song..It was so sad..It was a chain reaction cuz I saw Kristin crying and it made me start and then I made Amy start...we probably sounded awful.. haha ;o) Mauresa, miss emotion-less did not start crying .. surprise surprise.. haha ;op Afterwards, Britney, Katie and I set out to go eat at Isabella's, which happens to be closed on Sunday.. it only took us like 10 years to find our way there and then to find it was closed. We then decided to eat at Shakers and the girls treated me to my meal ;o) Thanks girls, i love you! We then headed over to our Talent Show audition. We played Canon in D. We thought it went pretty well and decided that it rated a 7 on a scale from 1- 10. We find out if we made it in the show on Thursday. I'll keep you posted. This year there will be no judging or prizes involved..its more like a showcase than a talent show. But it'll still be good for the experience and all.
I slept til 1 pm today. Exhausted from the weekend. Thrilled to be home. Sleep now.
Love you, B
