I'd rather be anything, but ordinary please...

Hi loveys.

I made myself a new "user pic" but I'm not sure if I love it or not, so feel free to give your opinions. ;o)

So much has been going on lately, I don't even really know where to start...my 18th birthday was wonderful, all my friends spoil me sooo much. ;o) I love you guys, keep up the good work. Birfday pictures ;o)!

I stayed at the Double Tree Hotel with Kates and Brit as planned, we had a simply smarvelous time. We went out to eat, and afterwards bought two pints of Ben & Jerry's icecream (which we attempted to keep cooled in the icebucket...haha, but that's a different story..). There was an outdoor and indoor pool and jacuzzi (but unfortunately the indoor jacuzzi was broken). We girls didn't hesitate to get down to the pool area, and jump in the hot tub...sadly, by the time it was our turn to get in, a couple was waiting so we only stayed in for about 15 mins. That night, Nathan called Katelynn on her cellphone, Jason called Britney on her cellphone, and me, the birthday girl, feeling quite left out of the cellphone loop finally got a call.... from Aaron Locker, not quite the same sentiment as the other girls' calls but atleast it entertained me.. ;o) Brit and I decided to get up at 6:00 am the next morning to go to the hot tub when nobody else would be in there... well we got down there at about 6:30 and to our surprise we were locked out from the outside pool/jacuzzi..we thought we could wait it out in the indoor pool which by the way was extremely freezing at 6 in the morning. After a miserably cold 30 mins, we gave up all hope, hurried ourselves up to the hotel room, and turned the shower/bath on hot and jumped in together (with our suits on) ... after freezing, it was the best make-shift hot tub at 6 in the morning that I've ever been in. ;o) So that concludes my birthday adventures. Oh except that on the way to Charlottesville, while stopped at Crossroads (and any single girl who's gone to Crossroads knows this can a frightening experience..) and so I was sitting in Brit's car fixing my hair in the mirror.. and this man pulls up beside the car and goes "You're pretty enough anyway" and I was just like "eh-heh... thanks" accompanied with a nod of acknowledgement that basically meant "that's nice of you to say, but drive off before I am forced to scream."

Speaking of scary men stories, the morning of my birthday party, Mauresa and I went to Sheetz, and as she gets in the car, I notice there's a mexican man getting in a large white van. Because of personal mexican men stalking experiences, I started freaking out to Mauresa.. "Oh my gosh, there's a mexican man and he's gonna back up into just so we can't leave!!!" and she's like "Brielle... calm down.. is he even looking at us?' and I was like "no.." and then we both look.. and he's stopped right infront of our car... head stuck out of the window, smiling and waving at us... we're both by this time freaking out. I don't know if you've ever been stalked by the wal-mart mexican men, but if you have, you know what this is like. We continued to drive around the parking lot of Sheetz just so we wouldn't be going out the exit at the same time as him. Hahaha. Ahh. I love us sometimes.

Last night, I didn't go to bed at all, simply because I couldn't fall asleep. So now I've been up for a total of...31 hrs. I'm not all that tired either. Hmm. I wonder if that's healthy.

There are a lot of different Land issues that need much prayer, so please keep:
  • Steve
  • Justin
  • Adrienne
  • Jason
  • Nathan
  • Katie
in your prayers and thoughts. ;o) Thanks. I love you all.

Mwahs, B
