Argh, printer ink. Anyone have a Canon photo printer?

Jul 28, 2008 09:36

Due to some extreme goof-headedness, I managed to buy an entire package of wrong-sized ink cartridges for my printer. Which I didn't discover until I'd opened the package, opened the ink I needed and found that it wouldn't fit in the tray. Agh!

(Note to Canon: Naming your printers the S9000 and the Pro 9000 and having them take minutely different-sized cartridges is just cruel and unusual.)

I thought I would throw this out to my friends list in case any of you have a Canon photo printer and might be willing to buy the remaining sealed packets of ink off me.

The cartridges are #6 size; that is, the BCI-6 ink package, which fits the following Canon printer models:
BJC-8200
S800
S820
S820D
S830D
S900
S9000
i900D
i950
i960
i9100

Includes (still sealed and fresh in original wrapper): Black, Photo Cyan, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.

The Photo Magenta cartridge was accidentally unsealed, though never used - I recapped it and you would be welcome to see if it can be salvaged at all.

I would love to sell this for $60 (the six-pack cost me $75.00 including tax); I've deducted the cost of the Photo Magenta cartridge from the total.

Please comment or email or IM if you're interested!
