My sister in Savannah put together her evacuation kit, and even made arrangements to evacuate with the dog she watching for a friend on vacation.  Irene skirted past and didn't bother her.

My brother in Battery Park NYC isn't evacuating and they aren't making any plans for the storm.  I hope they fair well.

Would everyone on the East coast please chime in and let us know how you are doing.
